HEIDELBERG HISTORICAL SOCIETY RECEIVES LOCAL HISTORY GRANT
Heidelberg Historical Society’s work to preserve our community history for generations to come has been recognised as part of the 2018 Local History Grants Program.
Member for Ivanhoe Anthony Carbines MP congratulated Heidelberg Historical Society on receiving $5,346 for their specialist work in conservation of framed paintings and historic photographs. They were one of 40 community groups which shared in $350,000 worth of local history grants.
The Local History Grants Program is part of the Public Record Office Victoria’s ongoing support for community organisations and volunteers who work to preserve, record or publish our shared local history.
